Invisible Pink Unicorns and Ragnaros' Hammer

It’s been an eventful evening here at the IPU. First we had Scotch and Smoke Rings featuring Oxhorn and his brother. Then afterwards we had an after party of killing Ragnaros. Sadly this run was not including an attunement run so people who weren’t attuned had to run through BRD to catch up with the main group. Lots of loot was to be found, but alas, Thunderfury is still not complete.

Since this raid was such a big hit we will be doing another one next week. Since Friday is the 31st (last day of 2010) it will be on Thursday, once again taking place AFTER Scotch and Smoke Rings. This time there will be an attunement run (which takes place in UBRS). And then we shall head to BWL to try and work on this epic guild quest for Thunderfury. And should we get enough raiders we may even get a guild raid achivement.

IPU Guild News for the week starting December 19th 2010.

Kyande finally hit 85 on the 19th,which is pretty cool because her birthday was on the 18th. We now have 5 level 85s!  Congrats to Sableheart, Jessiebear, Oreor and Poctou for all hitting 85!

The guild has been working feverishly at getting the classic dungeon achivement, and we only have 44% more to go! Be on the look out for classic raids lead by Kyande on Fridays around 7. There will not be one this Friday due to it being Christmas Eve, so spend time with your family, not on World of Warcraft.

MC Raid??!! Since we did MC the Friday BEFORE cataclysm came out, it didn’t get counted as a guild achievement, and seeing as Kyande is still on the hunt for thunderfury, IPU will be doing an MC raid on Thursday the 23rd at 7:00. Be online by 7 for invites and be attuned for easy access to MC. Sign ups will be available via the in game calendar.Kyande is a dork and totally forgot about Scotch and Smoke Rings! (Since it is thursday after all) The raid has been changed to 8 pm, just sign on after the show. Be sure to sign up via the calendar!
